Students in New Orleans participate in a videoconference where students at Wiley educate them about life in Central Illinois.

Students at Wiley in Urbana, IL learn about all things New Orleans from St.Bernard’s 4 th graders.

Students at St. Bernard bravely waited their turn to share their stories about Katrina and her aftermath.

Feeling an instant bond that bridged the miles, students in Illinois were moved into action as they began planning ways to help their newfound friends.
